Students who currently registered in CPT/IPCC can convert their registration into the Direct Entry Scheme if they have completed their graduation/ post qualification or have cleared the intermediate level of ICWAI/ICSI.

On conversion into the Direct Entry Scheme, the CA student can immediately start his articleship without the requirement of clearing IPCC Group I. He can appear for his IPCC Exams after completion of 9 months of Articleship.

Conversion from IPCC into Direct Entry Scheme

A CA Student who has not cleared any group of IPCC Exams or has cleared 1 group of IPCC and has completed graduation/post graduation with more than 55%/60% marks can convert himself into the Direct Entry Scheme on payment of the fees as mentioned in the chart below.

If the student has already cleared one group of IPCC, in conversion into Direct Entry Scheme – he/she would only be required to clear the IPCC Group which he/she has not cleared. In other words, the result of the group which they have already cleared would remain valid and they would only be required to clear the group which they have not cleared.

In case the student has not cleared any group of IPCC, he/she would be required to clear both the groups of IPCC after conversion into the Direct Entry Scheme.

Such students would be allowed to start their articleship on completion of the 100 hours ITT Course and 5 day orientation course.
